We are dedicated to helping companies create delightful products, brands and experiences that thrill users and generate business results through our design centred approach.
We’ve worked on a large number of projects which have validated and refined our design process as well as the tools that we use. We tailor our process according to the requirements of each new project, building upon the steps outlined below, to ensure that we can provide measureable results to our clients as well as iteratively improving the experiences they provide their customers. Underlining the entire process is our deliberate focus on design to help make our clients more successful.
01
We analyse your business as well as your users’ primary motivations to gain important insights into the direction we should take your project.
02
We use these insights to focus our vision for the project, and consequently, formulate a strategic plan of action in order to meet your project’s objectives.
03
We implement the plan in measureable stages, meaning, as we design/develop solutions for your project, we can easily pivot if needed.
04
We test the effectiveness of every solution against the project’s aims, and iterate on those with the best potential, to zero in on the final solution.
We believe that design as a service has tremendous potential to benefit brands and products throughout their lifetimes. That’s why we offer our clients a proven design subscription model, which avoids typical agency distractions such as hourly invoicing, scope creep and endless specification meetings. We’re also aware that some projects can benefit from well defined timescales and therefore are more than happy to work on these within our project/sprint based models.
Our design subscription model allows you to work with us on a consistent basis with a regular monthly fee. This means that we can team up with your existing team to create a scalable long term plan to make your business and products successful going into the future. We’ve found this creates a more stable foundation in which we can invest, to build experiences that would not be possible through more limited commitment relationships.
Some ventures have clearly defined start and end dates, and are much more suited to being worked on as self-contained, flat costed, projects. If you have a single, clear, target for your project, and it is executed well, it can greatly influence your product’s growth and generate significant business returns. Projects tend to work very well if you have a budget or deadline that you need to work to; and we have no qualms about working to deadlines.
For longer term projects where you may only require our team to step in for a certain period of time, a design sprint, with a defined aim within the context of the larger project, could help your team to define a direction in which to move forward. The majority of design sprints we have commited to have consisted of a full week dedicated, by our team, to the specific problem presented by the client, by the end of which we will have some answers.
